1. Object and scope
The Code of Ethics and Conduct sets out the values and rules that guide the actions of Granfer's statutory bodies and employees, regardless of hierarchical position or contractual relationship.
It serves as a reference for internal and external relationships, fostering trust with partners, public and private entities and the community at large.
2. General principles of conduct
Professional conduct must respect legality, fairness, impartiality, equality, proportionality, good faith, loyalty, integrity, competence, responsibility and civility.
- Fair and non-discriminatory treatment.
- Honest, responsible and transparent behaviour.
- Active collaboration and focus on the legitimate interest of the parties.
- Preservation of Granfer's institutional image.
3. Organisational environment and information
Granfer fosters a respectful, professional and collaborative working environment, encouraging continuous improvement, training and process innovation.
Information generated in the professional context must be used only for service purposes, with respect for duties of confidentiality and data protection.
4. Conflicts of interest and gifts
Situations of potential conflict of interest must be reported in a timely manner to ensure impartial and documented decisions.
Accepting gifts, gratuities or benefits is only admissible when it does not go beyond mere courtesy and does not compromise independence or integrity.
5. Non-compliance, review and entry into force
Breach of the rules of this Code may give rise to disciplinary liability, in accordance with applicable legal and internal provisions.
The document is reviewed periodically and entered into force on the day following its institutional publication, with a revision reference of 10 February 2025.
